Service Description
Mexico offers the world the most distinctive artistic genre in Latin America through its murals. This genre occurred in the first half of the 20th century, with the Mexican Revolution being one of the inspirations for Mexican artists. During this course, from the works of the 4 main Mexican muralists, students will have the opportunity to analyze, interpret, discuss, and give their opinions about the work of each one of them. At the end of the course, students will be familiar with the work of the most famous Mexican muralists and will have learned new vocabulary. This course is divided into 4 tertulias. Week 1 - José Clemente Orozco Week 2 - Diego Rivera Week 3 - David Alfaro Siqueiros Week 4 - Rufino Tamayo. This course will start on Tuesday, November 19, at Noon Central Time.
